Acknowledgements
•If a Statement is received from your creditor during this period, continue to pay the monthly payment due in order to avoid any charges or delinquency on that account.
•Straits Area Federal Credit Union reserves the right to refuse any balance transfer request.
•Completing the balance transfer may not close the account. To close your account, you should contact the creditor.
I acknowledge that my request to make a transfer to the creditors mentioned may take up to 30 days after submission and I should continue to pay those accounts until I have determined the amount I specified has been paid. I understand that Straits Area Federal Credit Union is not responsible for my payment being late or lost in the mail, in addition SAFCU is not responsible for any remaining balance or additional charges in the event the payment I authorize does not satisfy an outstanding balance or the creditor account information provided to SAFCU is not accurate. Transfers of the amount(s) authorized by you may or may not satisfy any outstanding balance(s) on the designated account(s). I will continue to be responsible for any balances on the account. Your balance transfer request may not be used to make payments toward amounts owed to SAFCU.
By checking this box, I authorize you to bill my Straits Area Federal Credit Union credit card in the amount(s) indicated. I understand finance charges will accrue from the date the transaction is posted to your account until the unpaid balance is paid in full. I understand that SAFCU will advise me if it is unable to process my request for any reason. I also understand that my balance transfer request(s) are subject to credit availability and my qualification as a member in good standing.
