Referral Program Terms and Conditions
Referring member (“Referrer”) must be a current JFCU member age 18+ with an account open for at least 30 days. Employees, volunteers, non-members, and minors are not eligible to refer. The referred individual (“Referred Person”) must be a new primary member (not previously in JFCU’s system, except as a beneficiary) and must complete a digital application using a valid referral code. Retroactive referrals will not be accepted. Referred Person must open and fund a new membership and checking account with at least $5, sign all required documents, and within 30 days, complete one of the following: (1) set up recurring direct deposit of $500/month; (2) open and receive a JFCU loan; (3) open a credit card and complete 5+ transactions; or (4) activate and use a debit card for 5+ transactions. Both accounts must be active and in good standing. Rewards are credited within 10 business days after the referred account has been open for 90 days and eligibility is verified. Limit 20 referrals ($500 max) per calendar year. One referral reward per new member. Self-referrals not allowed. JFCU may modify or discontinue this program at any time.
